300 g paneer (diced) 400 g fresh spinach 1 onion (chopped) 2 tomatoes (chopped) 3 garlic cloves 2 cm ginger 2 green chillies 1 tsp garam masala 1/2 tsp turmeric 2 tbsp butter Salt, cream

The Story

Palak Paneer is one of North India's most beloved vegetarian dishes. The combination of spinach (palak) and paneer cheese is a rich source of iron and protein rooted in Ayurvedic nutrition.

Instructions

  1. Blanch spinach, then blend into a purée.
  2. Sauté onion, garlic and ginger in butter.
  3. Add tomatoes and spices; cook 10 min.
  4. Stir in spinach purée; simmer 5 min.
  5. Add paneer cubes; cook 5 min more.
  6. Garnish with cream and garam masala. Serve.
